Imelda began her training at the age of five in ballet, tap and modern dance at the National Performing Arts School, Dublin. She also attended Betty-Ann Norton for drama, the Kylemore College of Music for singing, and trained in ballroom and Latin-American for 6 years. Growing up, she appeared in many productions in theatres in Dublin including the Olympia, the Gaiety and the Rupert Guinness. Her first professional appearance was in Evita at the Olympia Theatre at the age of eight. She studied Performing Arts at Inchicore College, Dublin for three years. Recent work includes two seasons in Wilde Nights cabaret on board the Oscar Wilde, travelling between Ireland and France (Dance captain). Two panto seasons at the Helix Theatre, Cinderella and The Sleeping Beauty. 42nd Street (Gaiety Theatre), two seasons in Normandy Nights (on board the MV Normandy), Babes in the Wood (Cork Opera House). She has toured the country twice with Talisman Theatre Company, with Santa's Magical Christmas and Little Red Riding Hood. For the past two years she has danced frequently in Taylor's Irish Nights, Taylors Three Rock, Rathfarnham and was swing for Taylor's Irish Cabaret 2010. Film includes seasons 1, 2 and 3 of The Tudors. Corporate work includes Vegas Nights (Sonix entertainment) in various venues around the country. Choreography credits include You're a good man Charlie Brown (Willow Park School, Blackrock), Just Dance and 'Star' Wars (Ballyfermot College of Further Education), Cinderella (Kill Musical Society), Grease (Rathcoole Community School), Hairspray, High School Musical 2 and High School Musical 3 (Dun Laoghaire Music School). Imelda also runs her own stage school with classes in Drimnagh Dublin, Thurles Co. Tipperary and Clane Co. Kildare.
