The Academy isn't a funnel. Each step stands on its own, and you can stop at any point and keep what you've made.
The steps
- Learn: free tutorials. Pick a job, like customer enquiries or a weekly report, and follow the tutorial with our made-up sample data. No signup. Tutorials
- Practise: free live classes. Build the same workflow live, online, and ask questions. A class runs once enough people sign up. Free classes
- Bring a problem: free clinics and community builds (coming later). We plan free group clinics where you bring a workflow problem, and occasionally a small, free build for a business or community group, chosen against published rules. We'll publish those rules before we open applications.
- Get it built: optional, paid. A fixed-scope implementation, private team training, or ongoing support after a build. Business help
Our free promise
Free means free for the result we promise. You can use our tutorials and attend a free class without paying us, joining anything, giving a testimonial, agreeing to publicity or signing up for marketing. We tell you about any third-party tool costs before you start and show a free way through. Paid implementation, training and support are separate and optional.
We'll never require a work email, a phone number, a company name, a card, a budget or a sales call for anything free.
How we use AI
- AI drafts; a person decides. Every workflow we teach has a human check before anything reaches a customer.
- Spreadsheets do the sums. We use AI for words, not for numbers you'll be held to.
- We teach with made-up data, so nobody has to paste real customer details into an AI tool to learn.
- We show where AI got things wrong in our own tests, because that's what you'll need to catch.
Where the examples come from
The tutorials teach patterns from systems we built and run for our own portfolio of websites: an enquiry hub that handles messages from many sites, weekly reporting across them, and research monitoring. These are our own systems, not client case studies, and we don't claim results for other businesses that we haven't measured.
